You never know exactly what you're going to get when you mix two good things, such as glossy Oil Rubbed Bronze & flat chalkboard paint.
I finally got around to making homemade chalkboard paint. It's about time since it was one of the first ideas I pinned.
Instead of using flat latex paint, as recommended, I used shiny Rustoleum Oil Rubbed Broze paint. I figured the worst that could happen was the paint would turn out flat (an it did). But sparkly metallic flecks were still visible up close.

- Sand Paper (Garage)
- Handheld Sander (Harbor Freight)

- Foam Brush (Michael's)
