Dollar Store Décor Tutorial

hree of a kind
Pinspiration struck again.
Dollar store plastic picture frames were transformed into a set of vintage style laquered mirrors.
I adapted frou-fru Gal's faux embossing tutorial {here} and Erica Domesek's faux porcelain tutorial {my version here} to create texture on the frames.
Design inspiration came from the decorative mirrors in my apartment.
After some spray paint experimentation, the mirrored glass came out with a nicely aged look.
Read on for a tutorial.

Faux Vintage Lacquered Mirrors
Ingredients
Total Cost = $9 (or $3 per mirror)
Protocol
Final Words:
I didn't like the metallic silver paint by itself (looked like plain sheet metal), so I went on the remove it.
The mirrors have a nice Anthropologie-esque aged effect but aren't very clear. You may want to use only Krylon Looking Glass paint.
